About me

Hi there, my name is Almudena and I’m the human behind Byalmaklub.
Here, I draw everyday things: food, wine, coffee, kitchens, visual cravings, always with a
loosy hand and zero pressure.

In this space, nothing needs to be perfect. Quite the opposite: the uglier, the better. Byalmaklub was born in 2022, in Australia, where I lived for almost six years.
In 2024, I decided to bring it back home, to the Canary Islands, with one very clear desire:
to work from wherever I want, create freely, and finally allow myself not to be perfect.

Because yes, I’m a Virgo, which means being hard on myself comes built-in. But in here? Perfection doesn’t get to be in charge. Laughter does. Spontaneity does. Imperfection wins. Byalmaklub is about toast with tomato and having fun while drawing.
So if any of my prints make you smile or remind you it’s okay to let go of perfection, then my job is done.
